In this game, players travel the "Maple World", defeating monsters and advancing their characters' skills and abilities which is also done in many other role-playing games. After venturing Maple Island, players can go on with their adventure and "Change" to another continent like(for ex.) "Victoria Island." Players can also interact with others in many ways, such as through chatting and trading. Groups of players can band together in parties to hunt monsters and share the rewards and can also collaborate forming guilds to interact more easily with each other. Players can Discover new things by themselves and this game can be fun even without friends by your side playing with you, but this game is still a friendly game as people make friends with unknown game buddies from other States. Players can also make other characters in their account either in different worlds or in same worlds, but it will have a character space limits in each world they make their characters in.

Maplestory is a game where the goal is to reach level 200.People play this game to meet new people online. Some people in the game helps out others to get to higher levels so they can actually train together for fun.Characters make parties to do Party Quests, Party Quests are where you fight a certain boss or monster with your friends but in a party which you can use (buffs) skills to help out the team members to defeat the boss or monster.

This game is where you can buy Cool, Nice clothes  in a shop in the game which you use NX to buy the clothes with, to get NX you have to go to stores like (Walgreens, 7-Eleven, Blockbuster, CVS Pharmacy, etc) they have different prices those prices are ($5, $10, $25, $50).Then you  Redeem your card to your account in the game on the website after you have done that you need to login your account to the game and  go in the Cash Shop to check that you got the amount of NX you bought.

The first ever jobs to be made were The Explorers there jobs were, Warriors, Magician, Bowman, Thief, Pirates.  After these jobs Maplestory Administrator's thought of new Characters to make and they are in a group called Aran.

Soon Cygnus Knights the roles of citizens in the Maple World with no specific objective to win the game was released and they worked on improving their characters' skill and status over time.The Cygnus Knights jobs are Dawn Warrior, Blaze Mage, Wind Archer, Night Walkers, Thunder Breaker.

The Evil of the game, the Black Mage, was sealed away years ago by five heroes fearing his resurrection, Empress Cygnus enlisted the Maple World to join her Cygnus Knights in preventing his evil from returning. However, they failed and the Black Wings resurrected the Black Mage resulting in a problem known as the Big Bang.

After all those jobs new jobs came out it was called Dual Blade a Specialist that can use two-handed weapons at one time to attack creatures in the game.

Then the next job was called Evan , A new Hero who got the spirit pact with the legendary Onyx Dragon, Evan. Evan was just an average boy living in the town Henesys until the day of a weird dream where he dream about wandering into a forest and came to face a magical black scaled face. Ancient, eyes that stared into his own and a voice echoed in his head. Evan woke up feeling scared and excited but soon he said to himself that it was only a dream. Weeks later, a small piglet escaped from the farm and the Evan chased the piglet for hours deep into the forest. He fell into a deep hole and passed out. Evan regain his memories then knew that he was in the same place from his dream. Walking as if he knows the way he saw a egg and the Evan tries to touch the egg and it was warm then he heard a familiar voice then he just took the egg and ran back home. The next morning the egg cracked in his hand when he was holding it  then a little dragon popped out and it changed Evan's life.

After there are more jobs that got released in 2011- (Citizens)The Resistance. The Jobs were, Battle Mage, Wild Hunter, Mechanic.

Soon in 2012 Newer Jobs got Released Everyone in Maplestory couldn't wait till it got    released each job got out one at a time The title was Legends their jobs were Cannoneer, Mercedes, Demon Slayer.
